The water was too rough to go out on a boat on Flathead Lake, MT so we took a ride looking for typical Montana scenery. This Montana barn caught my eye. I loved the colors of the Fall grasses in the Foreground.
I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a child I studied art with the late Walter Baum, a well known Bucks County Artist. With raising a family and working, I had fallen away from painting but upon my retirement several years ago, I once again picked up the paint burshes. I studied art at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA and the Sharp School of Art in Los Angeles, CA. I recently did an art workshop in New Mexico with Morgan Samuel Price who is featured in the Artists Magazine. Most of my work is done in oils. I also work in acrylic and pastels.
